Expressions of a Child

Expressions of a Child
"A child’s face is quick to reflect. From emotion to expression, the transfer of their internal thoughts toward outward appearance is often instantaneous.
Unlike adults who tend to conceal their inward thoughts, the honesty captured in a child's expression is refreshing.
What they are thinking is easily exposed in the downward turn of an eyelash to the upward twitch of a lip. Far from the age of accountability, we do no fault them for their disapproval or condemn them for their flush to anger.
And when they do smile, their joy ripples outward in space and connects with others in the room like a contagion of happiness."
